Terms of Service

CompetitorTracker provides Shopify App Store review intelligence for Shopify app companies. The service monitors public Shopify App Store listings, reviews, ratings, pricing summaries, categories, related apps, and listing changes for watched apps and tracked competitors.

The service does not require Shopify OAuth, Shopify Partner API access, merchant store access, or private Shopify data.

You may use CompetitorTracker to monitor public Shopify App Store information. You must not use the service to bypass authentication, access controls, rate limits, or non-public information.

Public app data can be incomplete, delayed, changed by Shopify, or unavailable. We provide the service as is and do not guarantee perfect crawl coverage, immediate alerts, or error-free analysis.

You are responsible for your account credentials and all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the service.

We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, attempt to reverse-engineer private APIs, or use the product for unlawful purposes.

The free plan includes 1 watched Shopify app and 3 tracked competitors.

Starter includes 1 watched app and 10 competitors. Pro includes 3 watched apps and 30 competitors. Studio includes 10 watched apps and 100 competitors.

Paid plans are billed monthly through Polar. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods unless required by law.

Review-intelligence digests and alerts summarize public Shopify App Store signals such as new low-rated reviews, repeated complaint themes, rating movement, pricing summary changes, listing changes, and related-app changes.

Digest content is informational. You are responsible for product, pricing, marketing, and legal decisions you make based on the service.

CompetitorTracker owns the service, software, design, reports, and internal analysis systems. You retain ownership of account information you provide.

Public Shopify App Store content belongs to its respective owners. CompetitorTracker does not claim ownership of third-party app listings or reviews.

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or create operational risk for the service.

Upon account termination, we may delete private account data according to our Privacy Policy. Public index data may remain because it is not private user-provided data.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CompetitorTracker is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service.

Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid CompetitorTracker in the three months before the claim.

We may update these terms as the product changes. Material updates will be reflected by changing the effective date and, where appropriate, notifying active users.
